Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both rough and finish carpentry and will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Responsibilities: Interpret and understand blueprints, sketches, and specifications. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using hand and power tools. Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, molding, and cabinets. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Collaborate with other construction workers, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Complete projects within specified timeframes and budget constraints. Requirements: Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision. Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Trade school diploma or apprenticeship certification in Carpentry. Additional experience in related fields such as construction or woodworking. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
